Let's see if the NFL pursues this case as vigorously as it did with Deflategate. As Tom Brady begins taking off his football gear after leading the Patriots to a 34-28 overtime win against Atlanta in Super Bowl LI, he notices his jersey is gone.
"It was right here," Brady says to a Patriots equipment staffer while sitting in front of his locker. "I know exactly where I put it."
An immediate search yields no answers, and later as he heads toward the stadium exit, Brady confirms the jersey is still missing.
"Yeah, it is going to be on eBay at some point," he cracks.
Brady set a Super Bowl record with 466 passing yards after completing 43 of 62 attempts. The previous record was 414, set by Kurt Warner for St. Louis in a 23-16 win against Tennessee in Super Bowl XXXIV.
