Chris Paul still has at least one more series left in his 2018 NBA Playoffs run -- his first-ever Western Conference Finals -- as the Rockets prepare to take on the Warriors for a trip to the NBA Finals. Whenever he is done, he has a summer gig waiting for him.

Paul will host the fifth annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports in July. The awards show will be taped July 19 from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, and it will air Sunday, July 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

Paul announced the news on the Nickelodeon YouTube page Thursday:

Michael Strahan served as the show's first host in 2014 before Russell Wilson held the reins from 2015-2017. Paul will be the first non-football player to handle the microphone.

"I grew up on Nickelodeon and now love watching it with my kids, and I can't wait to share this experience with them," Paul said in a press release. "I am honored that Nickelodeon asked me to host this year's Kids' Choice Sports awards. I promise to bring the fun, the slime and the most epic stunts in Kids' Choice Sports history."

Paul has a son, also named Chris, born in 2009, and a daughter, Camryn, born in 2012.

Starting in June, fans will be permitted to vote on the awards at KCS2018.com.
